Our law firm has started investigating claims on behalf of individuals that own Nvidia GTX 970 graphics cards due to recent reports of the card not performing up to the advertised specs.

When launched, the Nvidia GTX 970 was advertised as having 4GB of high-speed GDDR5 RAM. However, users quickly reported many RAM related performance issues with the card, including stuttering and crashing on games and video editing applications at high resolutions. According to recent reports, only a 3.5GB segment of the card’s RAM is indeed GDDR5 RAM, while the remainder is drastically slower – essentially an approximately 13% reduction from the stated high-speed RAM on the box. Additionally, the card is reported to have less Render Output Units and a smaller cache than advertised.

Our law firm believes that the rights of the owners of Nvidia GTX 970 cards have been violated, and that they may be entitled to compensation.

Nvidia has a duty to provide its customers with a product that performs up to the specs on the box. If you own an Nvidia GTX 970 graphics card, you may be entitled to compensation.
